This year at Ultimate X 2013, Mountain Dew together with Xbox 360 South Africa and 4 elements Gaming Festivals will be bringing you The Mountain Dew – Ultimate Gamer.
Do you think of yourself as a console gamer? We say you’re not a gamer until you fully compete in the Ultimate Gamer Challenge which will be featuring five different genres of games in one day on sixteen Xbox 360 consoles with one ultimate gamer winner. Will this be you?
On Saturday, 16th February 2013 from 10h00 at the V&A Waterfront canals we will be challenging gamers to play racing games, sports games, shooting games, casual games and fighting games to determine an overall winner and sole title of The Mountain Dew – Ultimate Gamer.
The day will test gamers abilities in multi-player, 1 vs. 1 challenges and as well as single player variations and even include time trials. As mentioned, you’re gaming skills will be put to the test playing the various genres of games until we have determined the TOP 16 players to advance to the finals.
Entry fee into The Mountain Dew Ultimate Gamer is free for all competitors which will include access to the most intense action and extreme sports in South Africa featuring FMX , BMX, Skateboarding and Wake-boarding competitions.
- Competitors will need to be 16 years of age or older in order to enter The Mountain Dew – Ultimate Gamer.
Registrations for The Mountain Dew Ultimate Gamer go live online later this week and full competition details will be revealed including the five various games the gamers will be battling it out on to determine this year’s Ultimate Gamer.
For the casual gamers out there we will also have eight Xbox 360’s set up to play and try out the latest games available on console for your entertainment on the day too.
